Where to find the Property EPC (Energy Performance Certificate)?
Updated over a month ago

An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is a document that evaluates the energy efficiency of a property and rates it from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient).

It aims to provide information about the property's energy usage, estimated annual energy expenses, and potential environmental impact. EPCs are beneficial for both landlords and tenants as they assist in evaluating legal compliance, energy savings, environmental factors, and overall property value. If you need to obtain an EPC for a specific property, you can usually find it through the Property Filter Platform.

Here is a brief guide on how to locate it.

  1. Select the property and click the Show Details button.

2. When you are in the Property Detail Page, scroll down a bit and look for the "Add Information" tab then click it.

3. Choose 1st Step Property's Detail

4. Then you'll see the EPC for both Residential and Commercial

5. Click the Address of the Property you're looking for EPC. It is also indicated the Energy Rating and the validity of the certificate and when it has already expired.
