Selecting Area when creating a Lead Generator

Updated over a week ago

Three ways to select an area when creating a Lead Generator

  1. Selecting postcodes on the map

  2. Select a postcode and a radius

  3. Draw area on the map

SELECT POSTCODES ON THE MAP

Input one postcode in the box provided, and the map will move to that location. From here, you will be able to select/deselect the area around the initial postcode.

Additionally, this button: Show more postcode boundaries, when clicked, will let you be able to click more surrounding postcodes.

SELECT A POSTCODE AND A RADIUS

Start by inputting a postcode, and then select a radius in the drop-down menu.

These are the selectable radius:

  • 1/4 mile

  • 1/2 mile

  • 1 mile

  • 2 miles

  • 3 miles

  • 5 miles

  • 10 miles

DRAW AREA ON THE MAP

There are four tools that functions differently on this selection.

  • Hand - having this selected will let you move the map

  • Circle - tap on the area you want to be the middle of the circle, then move your mouse cursor away to create a circle which will apply your area selection.

  • Rectangle - to use this tool, your first click on the map will be the upper left corner of the rectangle. Move your mouse cursor downwards to the right and click to create a rectangular selection.

  • Polygon - to use this, click on any part of the map, this will be your Point A. You can then click on any part of the map to create an enclosed area. Finally, click Point A again to finish your selection.
